We are looking for sales professionals to join us in the role of Account Executive. You are a highly energetic, skilled sales professional with a proven track record of strategic sales and consultative selling of IT products and business solutions.  You are well versed in the details of account management and at ease interacting with senior executives to create long-term relationships that drive bottom line results.

Reporting to the Vice President, Sales and Marketing, the Account Executive is responsible for attaining overall revenue goals, increasing account share, and developing high level business contacts and relationships.

  • Self starter and team player with the ability to cite clear examples as well as objectives achieved
  • Clear understanding of how logistics and the effectiveness of an organizations supply chain impacts the bottom line
  • Lead by example to bring fresh ideas and contacts into the organization to drive opportunities.
  • A charismatic personality, which provides access to networking opportunities with senior executives.
  • IBM software or hardware Sales and / or Technical Certifications

Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing and developing executive contact within the CEO, COO, CIO, CFO level
  • Planning and managing sales campaigns into qualified prospects
  • Making initial contact with prospects
  • Responsible for revenue within a defined region or vertical market
  • Researching and segmenting the market, geographic or vertical for which you are responsible to identify the small number of key prospects
  • Mining of existing accounts for additional opportunities within those accounts

Required Skills:

  • Experience in supply chain / logistics, transportation, and related industries
  • Experience in consultative sales at an executive level
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required
  • Sales Executive preferably with experience selling some type of enabling technology or consulting expertise into the Transportation or Logistics Industry.
  • Operational experience an asset
  • IBM Sales and / or Technical Certifications an asset
  • Ability to travel throughout North America (may require weekends)
