Nulogx
hosts its first customer User Group event
Richmond Hill, Ontario - October 18, 2004 - Nulogx held
their first User Group event since the acquisition of the
intellectual property of Transportation Control and Transportation
Optimize from i2 Technologies in May of 2004. Customers
in attendance were informed of the official product roadmap
for the Nulogx transportation management software suite.
Earlier in the year, Nulogx presented their product development
strategy and solicited feedback from customers to ensure
priorities mapped well with market trends and business needs.
During the summer, Nulogx reached out to customers during
our Meet the Customer Road Show
event, where the company focused on listening to
the customers to hear what they wanted to see in the products.
“Nulogx combined the knowledge we gained from extensive
research in market trends with our customers’ business
priorities, to come up with the current product roadmap.”
said Doug Colter, Director of Marketing and Business Development.
Nulogx presented a product roadmap that spelled out key
features and business capabilities the customers wanted
to see in the product first. The User Group was given expectations
of a version 5.3 product release to be completed in December,
followed by extensive QA testing. The first beta version
is scheduled for release in January 2005, with an expected
General Availability slated for March.
Nulogx also presented a first glimpse of nulogxOnline,
scheduled to go live later in the year. nulogxOnline is
a secure, password-protected web site that delivers business-boosting
information specific to Nulogx Transportation Suite customers.
nulogxOnline will allow customers to search for solutions
and log and track incidents. The User Group was told to
expect to see the release of this online system to be available
in January, 2005.
“This was our first User Group meeting, and we wanted
to let our customers know that we are very serious about
growing the products in the direction that will support
our customers’ business in the best possible way.”
said Mr. Colter. “I believe the Group felt very assured
of this.”
